Anastasios (Tasos) Tzikas was born in Thessaloniki and graduated from the Polytechnic School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Department of Electrical Engineering. He has been the President and CEO of “Technopolis Thessaloniki” since 2001, having taken the initiative to establish it as the first and largest high-technology business park in Greece. He served as Managing Director of Thessaloniki International Fair S.A. (TIF) from 2011 to 2013 and as President of TIF–HELEXPO S.A. from 2013 to 2025. He has also been a member of the Board of Directors of the Tourism Promotion and Marketing Organization of the Prefecture of Thessaloniki and the Metropolitan Organisation of Museums of Visual Arts of Thessaloniki (MOMus). He was one of the founders of Singular Northern Greece S.A. and served as CEO of Singular B.E. S.A. and Singular Software S.A. from 1987 to 2006. During this period, he also served as CEO of Singular Bulgaria and Singular Romania, Vice President of Internet Hellas, and Executive Director and Board member of Delta Singular. In parallel with his professional career, he has been actively involved in social and institutional activities. He served as a member of the Board of Directors of Information Society S.A. from 2012 to 2018 and as a member of the Dialogue Committee for Constitutional Revision established in 2016. He is a founding member and Vice President of the Board of Directors of the “Mikis Theodorakis Museum Zatouna”. He is Third Vice President of the Federation of Industries of Northern Greece. He is Honorary President of the Association of Information Technology and Communications Enterprises of Greece (SEPE), where he served as President for eight years (2011–2019). He also served as President of SEPE for more than 15 years (1995 2011).
